Fulford is a totally off-grid community, and does not have public access trailheads, potable drinking water, telephone coverage or internet access. You can often get limited cell service near the Polar Star Inn or higher up on the mountain, or, at the big bend in the road just past the intersection of the old McGinley Gulch Road when driving up to Town.
